Books ask us to think deeply about the reasons why we do things, they challenge us and they reflect back to us the kind of society we create for ourselves. Reading is good for everyone and it focuses the mind and improves memory, all in scientifically proven ways. It is also a way to open your mind to other cultures, other perspectives and other ways of life. There are many reasons why buying books is important and the youth of today should also give it a try and they will see that their knowledge of knowing things will grow even wider. Books are motivational and they inspire you to know more about every day’s teachings and you can teach someone a thing or two when you know so much. That’s why learning goes a long way and it doesn’t matter what age you are, there are no limits in learning something new. And it is always best to try out something new once in a while so how about you try it as a hobby first and see how it goes, you’ll never know you might end up writing your own novel. As a parent you can also try to introduce reading for your kids and let them take it from there, make them shift away from videogames a bit and let them try something new.
They will surely develop some love for it at some point and if they don’t then don’t force them but let them be free and if they have changed their mindsets then you can know can always come to you. Buying books is not expensive and you might be surprised of how much they cost, you might even decide on buying them immediately. In stores you can chose your bestsellers and their author and then switch with your friends and get back together after some time to share it and tell each other how you enjoyed the read.
